Sea World San Diego has great Halloween decorations, trick or treat stations and dance parties for the family, but new this year is the debut of the Sesame Street Halloween Parade. We were able to see it opening night last weekend, and it did not disappoint. The parade features all of your favorite beloved Sesame Street friends; including Elmo, Big Bird, Zoe and more.
The p
arade starts off as Big Bird welcomes you to Sesame Street and all the floats featuring different characters start to ride by, and then they all stop and do an upbeat and fun dance number. The song, in grand Sesame Street tradition, is educational. It reminds us to take a flash light while we trick or treat, make sure a grown up checks our candy, and other important Halloween tips.
It was so cute seeing all the characters dressed up for Halloween. Our little guy dressed up as Elmo for the parade. You can also reserve special seating for the parade. We chose to do this and it worked out wonderfully. Instead of having to get there early to scope out a spot we were able to walk right up and sit in the front row, on a mat, towards the start of the parade. Our seats also came with these fun Sesame Street light up necklaces.
